Betty's Visit to Sanders Cafe--the First KFC!--NO RECIPE--

Betty's Visit to Sanders Cafe--the First KFC!--NO RECIPE-- On YouTube.

In this video, Betty and her husband, Rick, visit Sanders Cafe, the first and original KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) restaurant! The restaurant is located in Corbin, Kentucky--about 60 miles south of my home in Richmond, Kentucky. The restaurant was established by Colonel Harland Sanders, who developed a recipe for Kentucky Fried Chicken, using 11 herbs and spices and a method of using a pressure cooker to fry the chicken quickly, retaining its moisture. The Colonel began his Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise at age 65, using his first social security check of 5, and sold the franchise in 1964 for million. It later became known as KFC, which currently has fast-food restaurants worldwide. In this video, I show you the restaurant, which includes a small museum. I will be making my own version of "Kentucky Fried Popcorn Chicken" in a later video. Thanks for watching!--Betty :)
